GoalieBook: clinic registration and payment tracking.

GoalieBook is a SaaS product I’m building for independent goalie coaches. It brings clinic registration, rosters, and payment status into one application.

Registration is only part of the job

Running a clinic means knowing who has registered, which goalie they’re registering, and whether they’ve paid. Card payments and e-transfers also need different handling.

GoalieBook connects those pieces so a coach can work from a roster with payment status, rather than treating registration and payment tracking as unrelated tasks.

What I built

Coaches can publish clinics and share registration links. Goalies can register using saved profiles, while coaches see registrations and payment status together.

Card payments are matched to registrations automatically. E-transfers can be marked as received by the coach, keeping both payment methods visible in the same roster.

Two payment methods, one view

The application does not pretend an e-transfer is automatically reconciled. Card payments update through the payment integration; e-transfers stay pending until the coach records receipt.

Saved goalie profiles also support repeat registration without rebuilding the same personal details for every clinic.

My role

I handle product design, UI/UX, Ruby on Rails development, deployment, and hosting. GoalieBook runs on DigitalOcean, deployed with Kamal.

Live and learning

GoalieBook is live in early beta. I’m working with an initial tester and looking for a small number of additional coaches to help shape it through use.
